I love being able to cook for my family. For me it’s not just about getting some food on the table (although some days it feels like that!). I want to enjoy the whole process – the smell of warm bread just out of the oven, aromatic spices and herbs, basil straight off the plant, melted cheese, cinnamon and fresh vine tomatoes. I also enjoy making food look beautiful and a plate or bowl of colourful food makes me so happy!

I believe that a key ingredient to cooking and baking, which not only satisfies hunger but also nourishes and cheers the eaters, is love. I want to do everything in life with love and I believe that baking and cooking with this secret ingredient somehow improves the flavour and nutritional benefit of the food!
Healthy living is not difficult, in fact it is what comes most naturally to us. Chemicals, pesticides and overly processed food are all recent inventions. Our bodies crave the simple lifestyle we were meant to live, punctuated by natural, pure foods, movement and embracing the fresh air and beauty nature offers us every day.

All of my recipes are made to feed a family with healthy appetites, but they can all be scaled up or down as needed. I always aim to cook with real whole foods because I want what I’m putting in my body to encourage a healthy glow from the inside out; food that makes me bloom.
